On the Verge follows three Victorian explorers on their intrepid, hilarious, lyrical journey bushwhacking their way through the last unexplored lands on the globe: “Terra Incognita.” As they travel together with staunch courage, keen observation, and proper Victorian sensibilities, it becomes apparent that this is no ordinary journey. Their friendship is tested as these “lady travellers” encounter trolls, psychics, yetis and…Cool Whip? Through osmosis, they acquire new words, manners, fashions, and intuitions that ultimately take them beyond their wildest imaginings.
